ARTEKO (www.arteko-ing.com), a member company of the Bahrain-German
Friendship Society has initiated the project Recycling for
Charity. Waste management and recycling is a hot topic and
already a key concern for many companies in Bahrain and for Bahrain as
a nation.
Recycling-for Charity is a simple way to do something good in two ways!
ARTEKO provides containers, free of charge for domestic application,
where recycable material can be deposited. ARTEKO will later pick up
the collected material for further processing and sell-on to the world
market. BD15 of each ton collected and sold will be given to local
charity funds. Please see attached leaflet Recycling
for
Charity for more information and contact details.
The Bahrain German Society would like to see this initiative promoted
to companies, schools, kindergardens etc to start making Bahrain a
cleaner place to live.
